Deadpool & Wolverine is premiering in the US this week. Also, you may not know that The Fabulous Four is also hitting theaters this week. If I went to 100 people on the street today and asked them which movie would gross more at the box office: Deadpool & Wolverine or The Fabulous Four this weekend, over 90% would say Deadpool & Wolverine. It’s common sense that a movie with a bigger budget, a strong franchise, and massive advertising will crush its competitor, catering to a primarily older female audience.
One could argue that you are either completely ignorant or, dare I say, an idiot if you think the Bette Midler and Susan Sarandon dramedy will outearn a high-octane action movie that can appeal to nearly everyone except maybe an older female audience.
