Veve is not that decentralized. This is how they are able to sign major IP licenses with names like Disney, Marvel, USPS, Coca-Cola, etc. These major household names would probably not risk their brands with a decentralized entity.
Veve runs on the go chain right now but it's transitioning to Ethereum. Once that is complete, there should be more freedom to transfer to Ethereum based solutions.
It's not a jpg for multiple reasons; 1) It has AR capability and is 3D. 2) There is a finite supply of each unique item tracked via the blockchain 3) You own the item. It's significantly better than most NFTs because in many cases it's a licensed name that people outside of crypto are familiar with!
