The decentralized business of the future

As cryptocurrencies have merged creativity, finance, and technology, here’s a look at what a decentralized business in the future may look like.

I’ve had a lot of jobs and many of them have been paid an hourly wage. I noticed that some people do a lot of the work and other people tend to just get by. It’s hard finding motivated, hard-working employees and to retain the talent once they are aboard. On the owner’s side, opening a business is a risky venture especially when considering the competition that existing corporations have in place. It’s hard to be the small guy and beat the established system that typically sees all of the profits going to the top.

Here’s an example of what a decentralized business may look like in the future. It’s goal will be to have a crowdfunded business where employees will be motivated to work as they will share profits and everyone will get a voice through decentralized governance. Although this mockup is not perfect, hopefully it gives you an idea of what may be possible in the future as a way for hard working people to prosper from their efforts.

Let’s use an example of a pizza shop. I am using this example because I worked at a pizza restaurant in college so I’m somewhat familiar with the processes (not so much on the costs/overhead). Also, just like pizza is divvied up in slices, the…
