The 7 Most Outlandish Remarks Seen/Overheard About Celsius Becoming a Custodial Service (#4 is Unbelievable!)
On the back of Celsius CEO Alex Mashinsky's plan to become a custodial firm and brilliantly rename itself to Kelvin (no, I'm not making this up), here are some of the remarks I have overheard about the idea.
Some ideas are great, and some ideas are monumental. For example, Celsius Network recently lost billions of dollars in its customers' funds. And while most CEOs should expect investigations for making numerous misleading statements and Tweets, this is the world of crypto. Unfortunately, crimes taking place here rarely get justice. The crypto criminals work off the same roadmap: wash, rinse, repeat.
Nonetheless, I've heard chatter all over town discussing this latest move by Mashinsky & Co., So I thought I'd compile a list of some of the strangest and mind-boggling remarks I've heard thus far.
- I heard while thumbing through a February issue of SkyMall magazine on a plane flight to Des Moine, IA.
Passenger A: "I heard that Celsius will provide a custodial service to protect and hold peoples' crypto."
