Upon doing my first major television/home theater upgrade in 13 years, my wife and I decided to step up and invest in the Sonos Entertainment bundle- a soundbar and subwoofer. It looks similar to any other soundbar, but after becoming acquainted with it for the past 60 days, it has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of technology that I have ever purchased.

I am not an audiophile. I am not a tech genius. I like owning nice things that are of good value and improve my life. I can confidently say that the Sonos Entertainment bundle is worth every cent of the steep investment that we paid.

When my wife and I went shopping for our new television, we hadn’t given too much thought to the sound. Admittedly, we have owned a few soundbars and surround systems, and while they all put out good sound, I always had issues with the dialogue on tv shows and movies. Music/action scenes were loud as hell and then people would talk and I could barely hear them.

To say that I was tired of constantly changing the volume is an understatement. So after deciding on the television that we wanted, I asked the Best Buy rep to demo some soundbars for us. We listened to a couple of the bars in the $500 range and it sounded a lot…
