It can be overwhelming to custody your own funds. Especially if you don't have someone you can trust to walk you through it. I learned via trial and error and made mistakes figuring it out.

However, at this point, you are absolutely right. I lost far more money having my crypto in the custody of these crooked platforms than I lost holding my keys.
