I used to collect watches. Nothing too fancy or crazy. My budget was around $200-$500 per watch. I would wear different watches, but after a while I found myself preferring the more comfortable watches and the others sat in the case. Some of the watches have a story…I got a black-faced Movado from my grandfather, I bought a silver-faced Movado after winning big on a gambling trip, and I bought an old-school Rolex when I got my first big commission check. Fast forward to today, and I realize that analog/non-smart watches are like buying a manual transmission.
