Introducing The Digital Collector: Your Chance To Take Advantage of a Multi-Billion Dollar Opportunity
I used to collect watches. Nothing too fancy or crazy. My budget was around $200-$500 per watch. I would wear different watches, but after a while I found myself preferring the more comfortable watches and the others sat in the case. Some of the watches have a story…I got a black-faced Movado from my grandfather, I bought a silver-faced Movado after winning big on a gambling trip, and I bought an old-school Rolex when I got my first big commission check. For my wedding, my wife gave me a beautiful chronograph with a nice leather strap.
I used to collect watches. When the first Apple Watch came out seven years ago, I bought one. I like new technology and being a watch collector, I figured it made sense to pay a few hundred bucks and see how it compares. Fast forward to today, and I realize that analog/non-smart watches are like buying a manual transmission. Since getting my first Apple Watch, I have worn watches from my collection a handful of times. Currently, they are sitting in a dusty case with drained batteries and dead faces.
I could spend another paragraph telling you why I prefer the Apple Watch, but I don’t think I have to. There’s a good chance you have a smartwatch and completely understand the benefits.
