Interesting viewpoint! Reading the responses, it seems like the community is divided on whether it's right or wrong.

My questions:

1) Are there different degrees of infidelity that should be shared vs. not shared (i,e. one night stand compared to a two year relationship)?

2) What if there was a pregnancy at the same time the woman or man was cheating?

3) What if someone has an emotional relationship with another person? Should this be considered cheating? If so, is it important to keep tight lipped on that?

There are so many variable in each relationship, I think that it's hard to make a blanket statement on whether you should tell or not. They say that the truth sets you free. But they also say what someone doesn't know won't hurt them.
