What about the FDIC funding rate? What about risks in the stock market that we saw when GameStop was frozen on Robinhood? To compare a 6% annual interest rate on BlockFi to a 40% monthly interest rate on Bitconnect seems like a loose comparison. I’m not advocating putting all your money in DeFi or Cefi platforms, but many of these platforms have existed for years and paid out millions to their users while providing a necessary service for borrowers. Risk always exists if you are seeking a reward. It’s up to you to determine if the risks are in line with the reward.
