I write a lot about cryptocurrency and how decentralization may ultimately help creators monetize their efforts. This being done for art (NFTs), music (Platforms like Audius), and streaming/video (Theta network). Some projects are even trying to decentralize Twitter/Facebook and other internet giants.

The new referral program and general frustration by writers compensation may hopefully lead to a savvy group of developers creating a better mousetrap. Just trying to provide some optimistic outlook that change may happen over the next decade or two. I know it doesn’t make it feel better today. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this!
