I was able to connect with Trust Wallet. I have heard that some people have issues with Trust Wallet. I have always used Metamask. Never had any issues with Metamask. I wrote an article about using Binance Smart Chain that has instructions for adding the network to Metamask. I'm not sure if that will help, but that's how I do it.
