I think our markets are anything but free. Tesla buyers got huge incentives from the government for years that went indirectly to Elon Musk’s pockets. Bezos gets huge tax incentives from holding his wealth in Amazon stock that skirts paying taxes.

What do you propose is a better system? It’s easy to spectate and complain and wallow in self/collective pity. We need solutions rather than just complaints.

Simply saying “there is a better way” is not enough. If you are going to say something has failed please provide an alternative that you think would be better.
