I agree that there are many projects that are cash grabs and offer no real long-term value proposition. There are also many projects that can improve our lives and make finances more equitable for those willing to take the risk.
I'd encourage you to research Bitcoin a little deeper. There's a reason that the elite are catching on to it and you can too. It's an alternative to never-ending fiat creation that is backed by exponentially growing debt.
If you have another alternative, I'd love to hear it. Or, you can just complain that everything is going to hell, the elites are screwing us, and the planet is melting. Take a look at the world's population. We now have nearly 8 billion people. In 1951, there were 2.6 billion people.
We have finite resources and growing population. Do you have better ideas? Have you considered learning more about some of these projects? Do you want to live in the same financial world where central banks and governments pick the winners and the losers?
Don't be upset because the elites are getting involved this decade when we all had our chance for the past 10 years to purchase Bitcoin or crypto. Less than 4% of people own crypto. It's still early and not too late to learn before it becomes mainstream.
Not financial advice. Just my opinions. I do invest in Bitcoin and other cryptos so I am biased.
