How to Trade $DEBEVIC Coin

Learn how to become a $DEBEVIC- The People’s Coin holder. Step-by-step instructions for purchasing.

$DEBEVIC can only be bought, sold, and locked on the DeSo blockchain. DeSo is a low-cost, high-speed blockchain designed exclusively for decentralized social platforms. $DEBEVIC can’t be purchased on any exchanges or Dexes except for OpenFund, the official decentralized exchange on DeSo.

$DEBEVIC is a creator coin focused on incentivizing, rewarding, and creating a fun gamification of decentralized social media. It’s an experimental project, and I am investing thousands of dollars in promoting the token and running continual contests.

A few key points about why $DEBEVIC is different from 99% of other altcoins.

  • There was no presale, advisor allocation, KOLs, snipers, etc. $DEBEVIC is meant to be the opposite of extractive crypto projects, which mostly take money out of investors’ pockets to enrich a group of insiders.
  • The token is un-ruggable. Nobody can remove the liquidity from the OpenFund AMM.
  • The token started trading at $0.001 and now has an approximate market cap of $50K, which is extremely low.
  • $DEBEVIC tokens can be locked for 1 year and earn 25% in annual rewards paid in $DEBEVIC.
  • In the first couple of months, I have given away over $1000 worth of tips and $DEBEVIC tokens. I still have thousands more to give away.

Steps for buying $DEBEVIC

  1. You must set up a free account on Focus.xyz and connect your Twitter/X account.
  2. When activating your new account on Focus.xyz, you will receive a small amount of $DESO. $DESO is the gas token for the DeSo blockchain. Every time a transaction occurs on any DeSo platform, it requires a minuscule amount of $DESO, the equivalent of a fraction of penny.
  3. Once your Focus.xyz account is active, you will also have a DeSo wallet.
  4. The easiest way to add funds to your DeSo wallet is to hit the wallet navigation tab on the left side of the Focus desktop screen.

5. After hitting the wallet tab, you will want to hit the “Top-Up“ button

6. The most cost-effective way to load your wallet is to add USDC or USDT. You can add USDC from the Ethereum or Solana network.

  • First, enter the amount you want to add to your wallet. I’d send a small test amount, like $1 in USDC for the first time.
  • Next, you select the crypto you want to deposit. I typically choose USDC on Ethereum or Solana. You will only select one asset type.
  • In step 3, it will ask you which token you want to receive. Select USDC (DeSo Network)
  • In step 4, you will see the address you need to send the USDC to. By clicking the double square next to the address, it will automatically copy the address to my clipboard. In this case, I am going to send USDC via the Ethereum network. In order to get $1 USDC on DeSo, I need to send approximately $1.33 in USDC on ETH. This is due to network fees. The network fees for transferring larger amounts are the same. For example, sending $100 in USDC on ETH to DeSo would cost $100.33.
  • Either go to your Ethereum wallet, or if you are sending from an exchange, you will want to send USDC. You will want to withdraw or send USDC to the address you copied above. Note that your address will be different from the one you see above and is unique to your wallet.
  • Send a small amount of USDC (less than $5) from your Ethereum wallet or exchange account to the address.
  • Sending USDC via Ethereum usually takes up to 30 minutes, and sending USDC via Solana usually takes less than 5 minutes.

7. After waiting up to 30 minutes, you should go to the decentralized exchange, https://openfund.com/trade/DESO. OpenFund is like a Uniswap or PancakeSwap on DeSo.

8. The order flow to purchase $DEBEVIC is first converting your $USDC →$DESO →convert $DESO to $FOCUS →convert to $FOCUS to $DEBEVIC. Note that cashing out involves the same steps in reverse order. Do not try to skip these steps as you will lose money if you go straight from $USDC →$DEBEVIC

  • Once your USDC is in your DeSo wallet, you can convert it to $DESO on OpenFund. Make sure you have $DESO chosen under the ‘select token’ and $USDC for your quote currency (upper left). On the right, is where you can select how much USDC you want to convert.
  • Hit the “Buy DESO” button

9. Now, you own $DESO. You may want to keep a small amount of this for future gas transactions. Next, you will need to convert your $DESO into $FOCUS. The steps are similar to converting $USDC into $DESO.

  • On https://openfund.com/trade/focus, you will now select Focus under the “Select Token” and DESO for the “Quote Currency.” On the right, enter the amount of $DESO you want to trade to $FOCUS. In this example, I am trading 1 $DESO into $FOCUS. Finally, hit “buy $focus” button (lower right).

10. Now, you own $FOCUS and a bit of $DESO to cover transaction fees. The last step is to convert the $FOCUS into $DEBEVIC. This is similar to the last two steps. On https://openfund.com/trade/Debevic, you will choose Debevic as the “Select Token” and FOCUS for the “Quote Currency. On the right, you enter the amount of $FOCUS you want to trade (I don’t see any reason for holding any $FOCUS) and finally, hit buy $Debevic (lower right).

11. Congratulations, you now own $DEBEVIC. To sell, complete the same process in the opposite order: Conver $DEBEVIC →$FOCUS →Convert $FOCUS →$DESO →Convert $DESO →$USDC. Cashout your USDC. Note that you can only cashout via Ethereum network.
