Bitcoin has certain features and benefits that fiat, stocks, and real estate don't have. Stocks are fraught with counterparty risk. For example, if something were to happen to Elon Musk, what impact would that have on Tesla stock? Further, what happens if the greedy people on Wall Street realize there are greater gains in Bitcoin. Do you think they will hesitate to move their funds from stocks to a better performing asset?
Real estate requires maintenance and annual property taxes. Rental properties can go vacant and acts of God can destroy your investment. What if everyone moves out of the are you are invested in?
I think everyone is understanding that saving in fiat is a fool's errand. Saving in Bitcoin allows us to have our wealth in something that can't be endlessly printed away. It's not geopolitical and its the closest thing to a free market we have.
I'm not advocating for moving all your investments to Bitcoin (unless you have high conviction and want to get extremely wealthy). It's volatile and that's not easy for every person to stomach. However, as time progresses the volatility decreases while Bitcoin's value increases.
Good article, I like your point of view and think you have the right idea. However, I would argue that Bitcoin offers far more than speculation if you take a look under the hood.
