I have a few questions: How do you know that there won't be another crash? What if the government isn't able to prop up the stock market by printing money? What about the rich people who lost it all in the Great Depression or people who had to put off their retirements from the Great Recession?
Yes, historically the stock market outperforms most other asset classes. But what if we are due for a regression to the mean? It seems that you are taking a lot for granted here. For example, what if corporations start having to pay taxes? What if medical is subsidized by these public companies backed by the government?
I agree that people are naive about mathematics and finance. I agree with almost everything that you have written here. My only exception is dumping it all in index funds. Diversification between asset classes is what the billionaires do!
