3 questions to ask to find out if you should learn about cryptocurrency

I like donuts and I like pizza. But I’ve never had donut pizza. I’ll bet it would taste good as long as the donuts don’t have any maple on them. I’m not sure if donut pizza will ever hit the big time. But combining two complimentary items often works extremely well; peanut butter and jelly, pools and bathing suits, movies and popcorn…the list can go on and on. We live in exciting times where money is being combined with technology in a new way. It’s given birth to a new asset class called cryptocurrency. And now is the perfect time to learn more about it. Here are three things to ask yourself to determine if it’s worth your time and energy to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

  1. Does it make sense to fight technology?

I visited my parents house this weekend and my children wanted to draw with some new markers that they got as a gift. I told them to lay down some newspaper so that they wouldn’t get the table dirty. That’s when I heard the news from my mom, “We canceled the newspaper.” Disbelief hit me like a Jake Paul right hook. I’m pretty sure that my parents are the last house that was getting the newspaper delivered daily as they had been for as long as I was alive.
