Here are a list of the five people who have done the most for Bitcoin and crypto in 2021. Will we see bigger heroes emerge?

#5 Paul Tudor Jones

The multi billionaire is advocating that people put 5% of their worth into Bitcoin. On CNBC, he said, “I like bitcoin as a portfolio diversifier. Everybody asks me what should I do with my bitcoin? The only thing I know for certain, I want 5% in gold, 5% in bitcoin, 5% in cash, 5% in commodities. At this point in time, I don’t know what I want to do with the other 80% until I see what the Fed is going to do.”

#4 Sam Bankman-Fried

The crypto billionaire founder of FTC exchange and manager of Alameda Research has been busy creating an entirely new ecosystem, Solana, to compete with Ethereum. More importantly, he was the second largest donator to the Biden campaign in 2020. It’s good to have a crypto billionaire and investor with close ties to the most powerful person in the world.

#3 Francisco Suarez

The mayor of Miami is focusing on making his city the world’s cryptocurrency capital. “Our City Commission voted to explore three things: paying city employees in bitcoin, residents being able to pay taxes and fees in bitcoin, and the possibility of using city funds to invest in bitcoin,” Suarez said. In a major city with nearly half a million people, this says a lot about legitimizing Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
