Movies. Movies make us feel. Movies inspire us. Movies shape our culture. Some say you can learn about a society by seeing how it treats its prisoners.
On the contrary, I say you can learn about a society by watching its movies. There used to be a time when people read for solo entertainment. But unfortunately, books, stories, and novels depend on rudimentary skills such as imagination, comprehension, and interpretation. In contrast, movies can be written for third graders and enjoyed by everyone.
